Mrs. Amanda Wright volunteers her time as the Executive Director of Greater Gift. Since its inception in 2010, Amanda has used both her experience in the clinical research ecosystem and her passion for patient-centered trials to advocate for Greater Gift.
Amanda’s career in clinical research spans over 20 years with a focus on clinical research site operations, and highlighted by leadership roles and healthy partnerships centered on progressive initiatives to enhance the clinical trial process and experience. She is a Co-Founder and currently the Vice President of Partnership Development with Javara.
Amanda serves on numerous boards and committees throughout the clinical research enterprise and the Winston-Salem community. Most of these organizations focus on addressing patient needs, whether through clinical trials or community services and initiatives to advance health and well-being. Current clinical research related board and committee engagements include roles with Avoca Quality Consortium as part of the Site Advisory Board, Steering Committee member of Pharmatimes’ Clinical Researcher of the Year, Steering Committee member of ACRP’s All-Star Challenge and Steering Committee member of PopUp Star. Locally, she serves on the Board of Trellis Supportive Care Foundation, the Parent Teacher Association of The Downtown School and the Healthcare Committee for Leadership Winston-Salem.
Amanda is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. She enjoys traveling with her family and watching her two boys play sports.
