At Greater Gift, we were blessed in 2017 with many accomplishments and anticipate new opportunities in the coming year for organizational growth and more awareness for clinical research. Over the past year, we gained several new supporters and partners, hosted the Hero’s Journey Art event, moved into a new office, added over 300 social media followers, hired 2 new staff members and celebrated more than 10,000 clinical research contributors.
With the new year approaching, we hope to increase our vaccine donations from 85,000 to 100,000 by early 2018, and lead another international event, #PopupStar.
The #PopupStar clinical trial awareness contest aims to raise awareness for clinical research through innovative community based events. During the #PopupStar competition, diverse teams, from 25 cities around the world, will compete to design and implement a novel event in their community that will promote clinical research among stakeholders such as patients, researchers, clinicians, advocacy organizations, academic institutions and healthcare payers.
The events will take place over a ten day period in April of 2018 and three finalists will be invited to participate in a live broadcast finale in May of 2018 in New York City where one will be crowned the winner!
