About Us

The clinical trial process is lengthy due to a number of factors including regulatory requirements by the FDA. Typically, a new drug spends eight or more years in clinical trials before becoming available to the public. How long a new drug spends in clinical trials can depend on our ability to find enough volunteers for the trial. The average drug today must be tested by 3,700 volunteers before it is approved for use by the FDA.

Given the long, multi-phase nature of clinical research, these volunteers are left without the immediate knowledge that they have made a difference. The primary purpose of Greater Gift is to recognize and thank clinical trial volunteers and professionals by donating a vaccine to a child in need to honor their participation in a clinical trial.

Greater Gift forms partnerships with various industry groups who depend on these volunteers and professionals to conduct clinical research. Greater Gift gifts vaccines by providing support to highly reputable and established organizations dedicated to childhood vaccine delivery throughout the world.
